Milton Keynes Arts Centre (MKAC) is now seeking an experienced digital marketer for the post of Website and Digital Marketing Coordinator.
This is a pivotal role in MKAC’s small, yet mighty staff team. The post holder will be responsible for managing and maximising the use of our website and overseeing all digital communications promoting Milton Keynes Arts Centre’s programmes of work, enhancing brand awareness, driving web traffic, increasing sales and bookings, and engaging new audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To develop digital marketing strategies that align with MKAC’s business goals in order to support audience growth, engagement and participation across MKAC's digital channels, improve sales and attract donations.
- To manage MKAC’s website, ensuring that all events and editorial content are loaded and up to date.
- To manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising.
- To make continual improvements to deliver growth, including SEO and conversion rate optimis
- To conduct market research and analyse trends, optimising reporting tools such as Google Analytics in measuring and reporting on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals and identifying new opportunities to improve performance.
- To maintain effective data capture of audience research and analysis, so that information is accessible and useful in informing audience development.
- To stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.
- To plan and create engaging website content, driving digital growth and conversions.
- To be responsible for ensuring all document sharing and storage meets GDPR legislation.
- To represent MKAC at meetings, conferences and public fora as required.
- To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Director or the Board of Trustees.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Experience of implementing strategy in an online media/communications environment.
- Experience of website management and digital optimisation.
- Experience of creating engaging video, social media and written content.
- Experience of planning and delivering high impact digital campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with web and social media analytics tools(e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of current trends in social and community communications and digital marketing.
- An ability to think creatively and adapt tone of voice and content type for different audiences and purposes.
- Understanding of communications principles, branding and online identity.
- Exceptional attention to detail and good command of language for multiple communication channels.
- A self-motivated individual who thrives working autonomously.
- A commitment to equality and diversity, with an understanding of how to promote this through your work.
- A willingness to ‘pitch in’ in supporting the organisation’s work and to be DBS checked.
Desirable
- A passion for and knowledge of arts, in particular participatory arts.
- A knowledge of, or connection to, Milton Keynes.
- A UK driving license and access to a car is an advantage.
